A RETAIL worker is accused of participating in sexual activity with out consent following an incident in a store at Westfield Belconnen.  

Police allege at about 5pm on November 3 the 28-year-old man, of Phillip, closed the store’s safety shutters and started taking pictures of a girl within the retailer whereas she was out of public view.

The person is alleged to have inspired the girl to enter a small workplace on the rear of the shop, after which engaged in sexual activity together with her, with out her consent.

After the incident, the girl underwent a forensic medical examination, later reporting the matter to police.

Police arrested the person on the store yesterday (November 25).
