A person who tried to smuggle medicine into Canberra’s jail despatched police on a foot chase on Sunday (October 30) evening.
Police chased the 42-year-old man on foot after he was noticed allegedly trying to smuggle medicine and money into the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) round 11.15pm final evening.
The person, who’s from Holder, was arrested and charged with a string of offences together with trespass, and drug trafficking.
