The girl was feeding her youngster whereas observing a matter within the Victorian County Court docket on Thursday when the decide addressed her immediately.
“Madam, you’ll not be permitted to breastfeed a child in court docket,” he stated.

She then received up and left the courtroom along with her youngster.
Melbourne obstetrician Nisha Khot stated the incident was appalling.
“We’ve tried so laborious to get previous so many obstacles for girls who need to breastfeed and to have this occur in a court docket of regulation is simply not acceptable in any respect,” Dr Khot instructed AAP.

She stated breastfeeding had long-term implications for mom and youngster so something stopping that would influence their well being.
